Description of manuscript content:
The text describes compassion the Buddha has for all people. Therefore, the Buddha traveled a lot in order to deliver sermons to his followers.
Colophon:
Folio 24 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1227, a hap pao year, on the eighth day of the waxing moon of the second [lunar] month, the second day of the week (Monday), a kat sai day, at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Chao Phaya Sinorakhut together with his parents, relatives and male-female slaves were the principal initiators and had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript bundle entitled Aphitham Sangkhini to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5 thousand years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana certainly).
