Description of manuscript content:
The third fascicle of the words of Patimokkha. The text was written in Pali and Lao in accordance with the Nissaya in which the text was written in Pali and verbatim translated into Lao. The text starts with the five Pācittiya (Rules entailing confession): The Chapter of the Naked Ascetic, until the end of the Patimok.
Colophon:
Folio 27 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat hundred and 403 (should be CS 1143), a huang pao year, on the third day of the waxing moon of the eleventh [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a ka hao day, Chao Khanan (Mr. ex-monk) Patsim had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Patimok to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna (Nirvana).
