Description of manuscript content:
The first fascicle of the words of Patimokkha. The text was written in Pali and Lao in accordance with the Nissaya in which the text was written in Pali and verbatim translated into Lao. The text runs from the start until the end of Aniyata (indefinite rules).
Colophon:
Folio 28 on the verso side: The writing of this manuscript was finished in a ma mae year, on the second day of the waning moon of the first [lunar] month, a tao set day, in the afternoon (12:00–13:30). Chao Hua Sa Panya had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sabpatimok to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of five thousand years. Nibbāna paccaya hotu (May this be a condition to reach Nirvana).
