Description of manuscript content:
The fourth fascicle of the words of Patimokkha. The text was written in Pali and Lao in accordance with the Nissaya in which the text was written in Pali and verbatim translated into Lao.
Colophon:
Folio 22 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat 1212, a kot set year, on the third day of the waxing moon of the sixth [lunar] month, the first day of the week (Sunday), at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Thao (Mr.) Tan and his wife had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Vinai hòm to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5 thousand years. May all my wishes and desires be fulfilled. Nibbāna paccaya hotu no (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana).
