Description of manuscript content:
The Dalang Jati text is about the arrival of the Last Day (kiamat) when the Angel Israfil will sound the trumpet to awaken all the souls of the dead to make them account for their deeds on earth. It is also about the philosophy of life and it states that life is like a wayang performance puppeteered by a dalang who manipulates the puppets’ every moves.
