The text explains that the Esquire Resident of Padang requested Angku Panglima Padang to instruct two chief to accompany the company in traveling with Raja Baginda Sri Sutan Besar, who became Tuanku of Tarusan in place of the late Tuanku. It also includes a decision for the King of Siguntur and the chief of Barong-Barong Balantai to immediately receive Raja Baginda Besar according to customary practices and to abide by all decisions made by Raja Baginda Besar.
