Description of manuscript content:
While residing at the Buppharam Monastery in Savatthi, the Buddha talked to King Pasenadi about the merit derived from making flags to worship the Triple Gem. The Buddha gave an example: during the time of Vipassi Buddha, a poor couple who had the ardent religious faith in the Triple Gem made a flag in order to worship the Triple Gem. While preparing the flag, the husband suddenly died and because of his faith he went to the Tavatimsa Heaven as a divinity and possessed a huge amount of heavenly treasures.
