Description of manuscript content:
The text narratess that Ananda Thera asked the Buddha about the merit derived from offering the eight daily commodities to monks. The Buddha taught that those who offered the eight commodities to monks would gain merit for 38 eons and not go to hell for 100 existences. After death, the person will be born in the Tavatimsa Heaven, own a castle with 20 yojana height and have 30 thousand fairies as servants.
