The manuscript contains five texts on Islamic theology (tauhīd), magical drawings/charms and Arabic grammar (naḥw-ṣarf). The text starts with Allah’s attributes and continues with magical drawings/charms. It continues with sarobat prayer (for health and good fortune) and continues with the study of Arabic morphology (ṣarf-luġah). It then contains the charm tomboh loroh weteng (charm to cure stomach ache) and it ends with Arabic grammar (ṣarf).

The manuscript is incomplete due to missing pages at the beginning and end. The manuscript is bound and some pages have become torn at the edges. Text from the Quran and Hadith have rubrications in red. Also new chapters are indicated with red signs. Some text has Javanese interlinear and marginal glosses in Pegon script, some up-side-down. The Arabic script of some texts uses diacritics.
