The manuscript contains three texts on Arabic syntax.
Text 1: The text explains ‘awāmil and its divisions starting with ‘awāmil al-samā‘iyyah, al-qiyāsiyyah, lafẓī, up to ma‘nawī. The text resembles the Kitāb al-‘Awāmil al-Jurjānī.
Text 2: The text deals with Arabic syntax and is used in traditional Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) at the ibtidaiah level.
