The poem is about a person called I Gusti Nyoman who had a very beautiful wife. One day, when he was accompanying his wife to the market they met the king who was captivated by her beautiful face. The king made efforts to make I Gusti Nyoman disappear so that he could take her as his wife. He sent out I Gusti Wayan to kill I Gusti Nyoman, but he failed and was unable to kill him.
