Description of manuscript content:

The text tells of the descendants of Ida Dalem Tarukan who was the son of Ida Dalem Sri Kresna Kepakisan. Sri Kresna Kepakisan was an envoy from the Javanese kingdom Majapahit after the Bali Aga kingdom had expanded by Majapahit under Patih Gajah Mada. Sri Kresna Kepakisan had four sons: Dalem Agra Samprangan, Dalem Tarukan, Dalem Ketut Smara Kepakisan and Dalem Tegal Besung. One day, when Dalem Tarukan made Dalem Agra Samprangan angry so that Dalem Samprangan sent an army to punish Dalem Tarukan and Dalem Tarukan fled. Dalem Tarukan had many sons: I Dewa Bagus Darma, I Gusti Gede Sekar, I Gusti Gede Pulasari, I Gusti Gede Bebandem, I Gusti Blayu, I Gusti Gede Bebalang. Dalem Tarukan’s descendants are called the Pulasari caste.
