Text 1: The text is a manual for pemangkus (priests) about how to worship especially during the new moon. It starts with the mantras to purify the mouth, to wash the face and hair, to bath and to make holy water, to sprinkle holy water, to purify incense, to ask the gods to descend to earth to offer purification. It also contains the offerings to be made by the pemangku at full and new moon. It ends with the mantras to be said during rituals and for making holy water. Text 2: The text contains a collection of prayers used by pemangkus (priests) during rituals in the temple. It starts with mantras to make the offering sayut durmanggala. The text also contains mantras to be uttered for demons and chthonic beings, to make caru, to worship the sun (surya stawa), the earth and the house gods as well as other mantras used during other rituals.
