Text 1: The text is a manual for pemankus (priests) who use Sang Kul Putih. It deals with how a pemangku should operate. It starts with seeking permission from Sang Hyang Pasupati who resides at the top of Mount Semeru. It is followed by uttering mantras and offering incense and pieces of cloth (tapakan) as the manifestation of Ida Bhatara. It also contains the mantras to offer offerings and to make holy water. Text 2: The text contains the way how to work the wed rice paddies (sawah) and how to combat pests,such as mice and rats, and the mantras and ingredients to be used.
