The text contains the legend of Gunung Catur Lokapala in Bali. It tells that Bhatara Pasupati dispatched three gods to Bali, Bhatara Mahadewa who resides on Mount Tolangkir (Gunung Agung), Bhatari Dewi Danu who resides in Ulun Danu Batur, and Bhatara Gni who resides on Mount Lempuyang. Bhatara Gni had a descendant called Mpu Gnijaya, Mpu Gnijaya had seven descendants called Mpu Sanak Pitu (Mpuk Ketek, Mpu Kananda, Mpu Witadarma, Mpu Wiradnyana, Mpu Ragarunting, Mpu Prateka, Mpu Dangka). These seven form the ancestors of the Pasek Clan in Bali.
