Description of manuscript content:
A wealthy family in Pataliputta had two daughters and one son: Sisom, Somma and Jayasangaha. When they grew up, the two sisters got married with the sons of rich families. Jayasangaha finished studying traditional medicine but his girlfriend became ill. He had cured her until she recovered. Later, they got married and had a son and a daughter named Sihanama and Lika.
Colophon:
Folio 14 on the recto side: In BE 2539, a hwai chai year, on the fifteenth day of the waxing moon of the first-eighth [lunar] month, a Sunday, a poek set day, [the writing was finished]. Sathu Nyai (Great monk) Phui Thiracitta Maha Thera from Vat Pha Maha That Rajabovoravihan sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Saiya Sangkhaha to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until 5000 years. May the benefit of this merit support me to reach Nirvana. Nibbāna paccaya hotu no anāgate kāle niccaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana in the future, constantly and certainly).
