Description of manuscript content:
While staying at the Jetavana Monastery, the Buddha talked about King Maha Nama who asked the Buddha about the merit gained by a devout person who built a bathroom for monks. The Buddha delivered a sermon describing the merit derived from making bathrooms for monks.
Colophon:
Folio 6 in the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1215, a ka pao year, on the seventh day of the waxing moon of the tenth [lunar] month, a kat mao day, the sixth day of the week (Friday), in the afternoon (12:00–13:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Chao Mòm Phan was the principal initiator, along with her husband, children, parents and her siblings had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccaya hotu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, certainly.).
