Description of manuscript content:

This La Galigo episode manuscript contains the story of the marriage between To Rukkampoti and Daeng Patappa, which takes place through the mediation of the wind (botting ranenringna). It also includes the tale of Datu Pituppuloe holding a cockfighting festival around Cina Tana Ugi, Tempe, and Sabbang.

Other notes:

- The manuscript’s cover is smaller than the manuscript itself. - Some gatherings (quires) have detached from the binding, resulting in several missing pages. - There is no information about the author, copyist, date, or place of transcription. - Several pages at the beginning of the manuscript are missing, leaving the opening episode of the story unknown. - A page is missing between pages 46v and 47r. - Torn paper has resulted in the loss of text on the following pages: 46r–46v, 59r–59v, 65r–65v, 66r–66v, and 71r–71v.
