Description of manuscript content:
While staying in the Jetavana Monastery, the Buddha talked about a devout person who offered monks cloth for sale. After his death, he entered a twenty-five yojana height castle illuminated with seven kinds of jewelry in the Tavatimsa Heaven.

Folio 11 on the recto side: In BE 2515, a tao cai year, on the seventh day of the waxing moon of the first-eighth [lunar] month, a Saturday, at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), Pha Phui Thiracitta Thera, the abbot of Vat Pha Maha That Rajabovoravihan and the Chao Khana Tasaeng Tai (the southern ecclesiastical head of the sub-district of Vat That), Luang Prabang municipal, had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sòng Phedan to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccaya hotu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ paramaṃ sukkhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana which is the greatest bliss, constantly and certainly).
