Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript presents an episode from the La Galigo epic that tells the story of the marriage between Saliuruq Langiq and his cousin, Mutia Unruq (Batari Bissu).

Other notes:

The edge of the paper on pages 3r-4v is torn, causing some of the text to be missing. There are blank pages scattered throughout the manuscript (13r, 16r, 21r, 22v, 31r, 37v, 39r, 40v, 41v, 42v, 49v, 50r). Some blank pages were intentionally skipped by the copyist due to ink bleeding through from the reverse side of the pages. On page 50v, there is a map of Celebes, printed in the same style as the one on the cover.
