Description of manuscript content:
While the Buddha was dwelling in the Jetavana Monastery in Savatthi, Sariputta Thera asked him about the merit derived from making manuscripts of the Teachings of the Buddha. Then the Buddha delivered a sermon describing the merit derived from making the manuscripts. The ones who had the ardent religious faith to make manuscripts of the Teachings of the Buddha would become emperors and God Indra for many existences.
