Description of manuscript content:
The text narrates Dhananjaya the affluent who gave his advice to his daughter, Visakha, who got married with Punnavaddhana and moved to her husband’s family. His ten advises were: 1. A wife should not criticize her husband and parents-in-law in front of other people. 2. A wife should not listen to stories or reports of other households. 3. Things should only be lent to those who return them. 4. Things should not be lent to those who do not return them. 5. Poor relatives and friends should be helped. 6. A wife should sit gracefully. 7. Before taking her food, a wife should first see whether her parents-in-law and husband have been already served. 8. Before going to sleep, a wife should ensure that all doors are locked. 9. Her parents-in-law and husband should be treated very carefully, like fire. 10. Her parents-in-law and husband should be given the same respect as to deities.

Folio 15 on the recto side: In BE 2518, a hap mao year (thò [the year of the rabbit]), on the second day of the waning moon of the tenth [lunar] month, a Monday, at 9:30, corresponding to 22 September 1975, the writing of this manuscript was finished. Pha Phui Thiracitto, the abbot of Vat Pha Maha That Rajabovoravihan, and Chao Khana Tasaeng of Vat That (the ecclesiastical head of the sub-district) were the sponsor and the scribe of this manuscript. May the benefits derived from this merit be a condition to reach Nirvana in the future.
