Description of manuscript content:
The merit derived from offering flowers and fragrance to worship the Buddha. People who worship the Buddha with flowers and fragrance will gain merit in the three stages in the human world, the heavenly world and Nirvana. People who worship the Buddha will gain power, those who worship the Dhamma will gain wisdom, and those who worship the Sangha (Order) will gain wealth.

Folio 11 on the recto side: In BE 2516, a ka khai year, on the twelfth day of the waxing moon of the third [lunar] month, Monday, at the time of the forenoon horn (9:00–10:30), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Pha Phui Thiracitto from Vat Pha Maha That Rajabovoravihan in Luang Prabang was the sponsor and the scribe of this manuscript entitled Sòng Dòk Mai to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Suddhinaṃ dhamma dānaṃ āsavak khayāvahaṃ nibbāna hotu anāgate kāle nibbāna paccaya hotu no anāgate kāle (May the benefits of giving the gift of Dhamma be a condition for us to be released from defilements. May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana.).
