Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 42nd volume out of 110 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Si Pu Co Ang,” contains a folk tale letter that tells the story of Kong Beng, who was in Cong Ciu in the village of Pepocoang, plowing the fields, while his house—filled with belongings and weapons—was guarded only by a dog.

Other notes:
- Volume 32 was destroyed by termites. Volumes 51–110 are missing. - The information about the total number of volumes (110) comes from the list of works by Liem Kheng Yong found at the end of each volume. - The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
