Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 18th volume out of 110 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Si Pu Co Ang,” contains a folk tale letter that tells the story of someone who came to help out of gratitude. In the end, he drew his sword to help fend off a barrage of arrows.

- Volume 32 was destroyed by termites. Volumes 51–110 are missing. - The information about the total number of volumes (110) comes from the list of works by Liem Kheng Yong found at the end of each volume. - The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
