This manuscript is the 10th of 12 volumes titled “Ouw Pe Coa.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Ko Bong, who was the hope of his parents to become a learned person (Hoe Sio). He chose to live alone in order to focus on his religious studies, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to learning since the age of 14.

- Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
- It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
