Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the final of 14 volumes titled “Ga Ge.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of a village that suffered destruction due to the wrath of Allah S.W.T., triggered by the wicked actions of Ce Bing Ong. At the end of the manuscript, there is a list of works by Liem Kheng Yong.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - The colophon page is missing. - The back cover is missing.
