Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 13th of 14 volumes titled “Ga Ge.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Ci Yan Kun, who advised not to worry too much, and it was this advice that made Ki Ki Ya burst into loud laughter.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
