Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 12th of 14 volumes titled “Ga Ge.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Ki Ki Ya, who was replaced by a great hero and who brought shame upon the forces of E Ang.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
