Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 10th of 14 volumes titled “Ga Ge.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of a war led by Ga Ge, during which he succeeded in conquering 70 cities.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - The front cover is missing. - The colophon page is torn, resulting in the loss of the manuscript's date of writing.
