Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the ninth of 17 volumes titled “Ban Hao Tiong.” It is a folk tale that contains the story in which all troops were ordered to tighten security, with no room for even the slightest lapse. The soldiers were instructed to maintain constant vigilance from the highest points of the defense fortifications.

Other notes:
- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
