Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the seventh of 17 volumes titled “Ban Hao Tiong.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Ciong Cu, who, at that time, was scolded by his mother despite not having done anything wrong.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
