Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 10th of 19 volumes titled “Ce Si Ao Tong.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Ki Yang Seng, who was listening to a tale while raising his eyebrows and smiling. After that, he changed his clothes and then walked away.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
