This manuscript is the seventh of 19 volumes titled “Ce Si Ao Tong.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Tiong Kung Koang, who received orders to prepare thirty tables, five large flagpoles, and various other items. At the same time, eight boys were secretly taken out of the city to Cilipo to set up a stage.
Other notes:
- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong.
- Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
- It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
- There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
- The colophon page is missing.
