Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the fifth of 19 volumes titled “Ce Si Ao Tong.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Kiao Sing Kong, who did not possess any martial arts skills, and was therefore given the Lenghuna talisman by Cesiao Tong to fight against thieves or rebels.

Other notes:
- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
