This manuscript is the 20th of 21 volumes titled “Si Jin Kui.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Sae Hong, who walked on the sea or water because the horse he was riding could not move across it.

The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi.
Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
There is additional text on folio 40v written in Latin script using blue ink.
