Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the third of 21 volumes titled “Si Jin Kui.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of a disgraceful woman with wicked intentions and vile behavior—and worse still, despite her old age, she remained unaware of her wrongdoing.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - There is a notice to readers on folio 42r advising them not to lend this manuscript.
