Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the final of 22 volumes titled “San He Lan Tong.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Tio Kong Ang, who simply pleaded with Tae Cu to return and serve his parents, as he had been raised with love and care.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - The back cover is missing.
