Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 12th of 22 volumes titled “San He Lan Tong.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Ke Pong Bo capturing a thief and knocking out the thief’s teeth. It turns out the thief also had martial arts skills, forcing Pang Bo to use a powerful technique taught by his master, Lo Hung Lona.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
