Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 11th of 23 volumes titled “San Tae, Sio Ciya.” It is a folk tale that contains a story about searching for a residence where there are wise people, those who have special abilities, and also wealth.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - The back cover is missing.
