Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the sixth of 23 volumes titled “San Tae, Sio Ciya.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Song Sing, a woman who possesses power, wealth, and intelligence surpassing that of others.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - The cover is made from newspaper. - The paper where the colophon is written is torn, making the colophon unreadable.
