Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 12th of 23 volumes titled “Cu Ing Tae Cu.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Ke Si, who did not speak carelessly even while ill when talking with Cu Ang Tae Cu.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
