This manuscript is the 23rd of 25 volumes titled “Kin Ko Ki Ko An.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of a family facing financial hardship. Ciu Eng Co intended to sell his child to a wealthy man named Tang Te Liu. The adoptive parents then had a birth certificate made for the child, and the biological parents signed a statement explaining the reason for selling their child.
