Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 22nd of 26 volumes titled “Lie Eng Cun.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of the search for Sadah, a member of the Lieng Cung family, who has not yet been found. Therefore, Minister Hu Jing Te came to conduct the search and even entered Lo Hu Jing’s house in an impolite manner.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - The cover is made from newspaper. - There are tears on the front and back covers. - There are tears that have caused text loss on pages 1r to 4v.
