This manuscript is the 19th of 26 volumes titled “Lie Eng Cun.” It is a folk tale that tells the story of Su Bung learning how to concoct a narcotic. The recipe was destroyed by his wife because it was considered dangerous—the purpose of making the drug was to render someone unconscious and then take the victim to another country to be sold.
