Description of manuscript content:
While residing at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi, the Buddha talked about the lifespan of humans and other worlds. King Pasendikosala asked the Buddha about the difference of the lifespans of people and deities: some lived long, but others were short-lived. The Buddha said that our physical bodies were impermanent, happened, stayed, and vanished in accordance with the law of nature. Therefore, we should collect merit for our future lives.
