Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 29th of 45 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Tek Ceng-Ngo Ho Peng Se,” is folk tale that tells the story of Pa Oli Ong To made an agreement letter to open the coffin of a deceased person.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - There are termite bite marks in the middle part of the manuscript text. - The front cover is torn and has been repaired by gluing.
