This manuscript is the eighth of 45 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Tek Ceng-Ngo Ho Peng Se,” is folk tale that tells the story of Tek Ceng expresses gratitude because Ki Ong Cu is willing to help fetch his father-in-law.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
