This manuscript is the first of 45 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Tek Ceng-Ngo Ho Peng Se,” is folk tale that tells a story set in China around the year 1048.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi.
- Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
- It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
- There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
- Some pages are torn, causing parts of the text to be missing on folios 1r–12v.
- The pages in the text are out of order. The sequence of pages in the text is: … 61 – 62 – 65 – 66 – 63 – 64 – 69 – 70 – 67 – 68 – 71 – 72, and so on.
