This manuscript is the 75th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is folk tale that tells the story of Sia Yang Tang experienced severe stomach pain due to disturbance from a supernatural being, and was later treated by a shaman named Tang Ci Kung.
- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi.
- Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
- It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
- There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
- The text on page 42v is written in Hanzi characters using blue ink, with the paper attached at the end of the manuscript.
- The Hanzi Hua-He characters appear at the beginning of the colophon date.
